The Project Coordinator 2 supports Northwest Permanente Ambulatory Care Administration by coordinating the execution of all care delivery department’s appointing initiatives in order to meet the access and strategic goals.
This is a hybrid position that is a blend of working both remotely and in office. Must reside in the Northwest Service Region (Oregon or Washington).
Major Responsibilities / Essential Functions –
- Under the direction of the Program Manager of Appointing Experience, assesses the opportunity for streamlining process, decisions, and risks associated with regional appointing goals. Oversee and choregraphs workflow design and actions steps. Is the key point of contact for all information technology related to appointing programs.
- Support multi-disciplinary initiative workgroups in the development of detailed plans and tools to meet objectives. Use facilitation and collaboration to build plans that are supported by key stakeholders.
- Develops content for communications, QA summaries, and presentations. Identifies and works to remove barriers to successful completion of the overall process.
- Develops and creates content, including agenda and meeting material creation, issue and decision-making tracking, status reporting, and documentation management.
- Provide technical and project support for EPIC appointing configurations to ease patient appointing. Critical thinking skills required. Duties as assigned
- Provide back-up support to team as needed.
Minimum Qualifications -
- Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or related field, OR four (4) years of experience in a directly related field..
- Minimum three plus (3) years of experience in applicable project-related work experience.
- Experience interacting with stakeholders and coordinating
- Knowledge of Project Management Methodologies and Tools.
- Proven ability to plan, prioritize and deliver within constrained timeline.
- Proficient computer skills of Microsoft Office products (Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project).
- Self-starter, highly motivated and accurate and detailed in performance of work responsibilities/tasks.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage rapidly and frequently changing priorities.
- Exceptional customer service orientation.
- Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Report-writing skills.

Preferred Qualifications -
- Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or related field.
- Minimum five (5) years of experience working with Medical Operations at KPNW.
- Minimum two (2) years of experience as a Project Coordinator.
- Minimum two (2) years of experience coordinating the work of others.
