We are currently seeking a Board Certified Medical Physicist (MOC participant) with a minimum of 3 years of experience in clinical Radiation Oncology to join our group in the Portland Metropolitan area.
Responsibilities include QA/QC of all clinical equipment and treatment procedures, including SRS/SBRT, VMAT, IGRT, IMRT, HDR and LDR brachytherapy. We are an all Varian department with 4 TrueBeams Linacs (2 matched HDMLC and 2 matched Millenniums) each with 6 DOF couch. One unit also has BrainLab ExacTrak imaging.
Knowledge of Varian linacs, Aria/ Eclipse / BrainLab ( iPlan and Elements : MME / Cranial / Spine) and SRS/SBRT QA/commissioning experience is preferred.
The Medical Physicist will work closely to commission / implement recently acquired additional state of the art treatment modalities with associated policies and procedures.
The successful candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills and will join a well-knit team including 7 Radiation Oncologists, 4 Medical Physicists, 5 Dosimetrists and 15 Therapists.
