We are seeking a temporary Communication Specialist to facilitate, coordinate, and develop web content and architecture. This role will be responsible for creating newsletters and oversee content management for newsletters and app for the medical group. In addition, this position will manage communication projects and work closely with clients to ensure print and electronic deliverables, business objectives and regulatory, legal and compliance requirements. The Communication Specialist creates materials to support the Northwest Permanente (NWP) strategic program. NOTE: This position is a temporary non-benefited position and is scheduled to last anywhere from 4 to 6 months.
Major Responsibilities / Essential Functions:
Concept, shoot and edit videos. Perform other duties as assigned.Create weekly and monthly newsletters using Dreamweaver and oversee content management for newsletters, including creating posts for articles in WordPress, adding content to app, and send push notifications to alert users to new content weekly.
Minimum Education & Work Experience:
5 years in a related field; 2 years of writing and editing experience; and 1 year of web content management and/or web development
Basic knowledge of copy editing techniques and notation
